Prayer & Praise

Prayer is one of our four core values and we believe that prayer is our most powerful and effective tools as the body of Christ. We are committed to praying for our church, city, and those around us.

Prayer is our first response.

The Life Foursquare Church Prayer was born out of a need to engage the work of prayer as a body of believers. We believe that as we pray this prayer both morning and night together, that we will see change in our church and community. Praying together binds our hearts and unites us in a pursuit for God’s work both locally and globally.

The Life Foursquare Church Prayer

Heavenly Father,

I come before you recognizing that you are above all and Lord of all. Your name is the name above all names, and your thoughts and ways are far higher than those of any other. In a united pursuit with my family in Christ, I am asking that you reveal yourself to us, face to face. Help us to experience your presence personally and intimately in our daily lives. Give us your compassion; let us see ourselves and the world through your eyes. Imprint your vision and mission in our hearts so that we become deeply committed to your plan that all would come to know you. Help us to recognize the doors that you are opening for your kingdom’s advancement in Central Illinois. I commit myself to hearing you and following your will and plan.
